Good morning, all!

First of all, thank God it's Friday! I'm at the end of a week that saw me increase my excersie routine (it's a combination of walking and stationary bike, but it's something!) and my appetite is back - with a vengance! From last week to this week I actually gained 3 pounds, but since I had lost a bit of weight due to the surgery I'm not beating myself up about it.

My next chemo treatment is scheduled for next Tuesday, so I had to go get my blood drawn to make sure all my numbers are at normal levels. If there's any that aren't OK the doctors can elect to delay treatment or change up the 'cocktail' I'm being given for treatment. I've been told that the side effects that everyone mentions when talking about chemo - nausea, extreme tiredness, losing their hair - usually happens somewhere between the 2nd and 4th treatments, so I do have concerns about that. However, I know that the same God that has given me strength and comfort through so much over the past 10 years (you wouldn't believe what me and my DH have been through!) will guide us through whatever comes next. I'm just greatful that He'll never leave me or leave me completely messed up (Hebrews 13:5, paraphrase mine).

OK, that's enough for now. Oh, before I go...Please go and check out this section from Dr. Oz's website. It might be one of the most important sites any woman can go to. Who knows...it might save your life, or some woman you know and love. :-)

Have a great day, and stay vertical!
